Hear from the experts on how revised QBS process should be used
On January 1, 2012, HB 3316 took affect and requires Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) for the procurement of engineers, architects, land surveyors, photogrammetrists, and transportation planners. This will be a change for many A/E firms as QBS was previously only required when certain thresholds were met. Now, HB 3316 requires QBS for all projects in Oregon.
This program will provide an overview, including
- Oregon laws and rules for QBS
- When should QBS be applied?
- How to utilize the revised QBS process
- What other agencies are affected? (i.e., school districts and water districts)
