ACEC is the only organization with staff lobbyists watching out for the business interests of consulting engineers and land surveyors in Salem and Washington, D.C.

ACEC Oregon maintains a presence in the state legislature and with state and local agencies to represent the business and professional interests of our members.

Through our ongoing lobbying efforts, ACEC Oregon works to ensure that legislative and agency leaders receive information and opinions from consulting professional engineers and professional land surveyors on issues affecting the public and our professions.

ACEC Oregon's "Day at the Capitol" is a great opportunity for members to meet legislators and for them to learn about issues important to the A/E industry. ACEC Oregon's Legislative Committee routinely reviews bills introduced in the legislature and is an advocate for new legislation as it becomes necessary.
